1. Who can use MyStory

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service. By using MyStory, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Your account

You can sign in using Google or Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that happens under it. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Your content

You retain full ownership of the text you write and of the novels and other material the Service generates from your input (“Your Content”). We do not claim ownership of Your Content.

You grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you — for example, sending the text you choose to a third-party AI provider to generate a novel at your request. We do not use Your Content to train AI models.

4. AI-generated output

MyStory uses artificial intelligence to transform your writing into novels and related material. AI output can be inaccurate, repetitive, or unexpected, and similar output may be generated for other users. You are responsible for reviewing and deciding how to use any output, and for ensuring it does not infringe the rights of others.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
• create content that is illegal, harmful, harassing, or that exploits or endangers minors;
• attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service; or
• misuse the Service in a way that harms MyStory or other users.

6. Service changes and availability

We may add, change, or remove features at any time, and we may suspend or discontinue the Service. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that could cause harm or legal liability.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyStory will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
